New Delhi, 1st August 2018: Funskool India Ltd, India’s leading toy company,is on a mission to find talented young children/Bladers to put their skills to the test across a series of national BEYBLADE BURST tournament events.To identify and select the first ever Indianrepresentative at the 2018 BEYBLADE BURST World Championship to be held at the Kidexpo in Paris in November 2018.
Originating in Japan in 1999, BEYBLADE is a world phenomenon. The brand continues to be the ultimate battling experience for Bladers with millions of BEYBLADE tops sold in India over the years. BEYBLADE BURST, is the third and latest generation of the BEYBLADEsaga and consists of a must have range of BEYBLADE tops, launchers and stadiums. The BEYBLADE BURST series toys were launched in India last year and quickly became a hit with kids.
Funskool India Ltd., the authorizeddistributor for India, is on the lookout for eager young contestants who seek to participate in this series of challenging competitions as they showcase their passion for blading and well honed-skills to become India’s BEYBLADE BURST Champion and represent India at the BEYBLADE BURST World Championship.
The journey to find the ultimate national champion will begin from July 2018 onwards, when Funskool India Limited, will conduct a5city-level tournaments to be held in prominent malls across Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi.
The finalists /qualifiers from each city will then compete with each other in a tight scramble for the glorious title of ‘NATIONAL CHAMPION’, at the FINALS to be held in Delhion August19th 2018.
The NATIONAL CHAMPION willthen go on to represent INDIA at the coveted BEYBLADE BURST World Championshipwhere they will compete with their rivals from other countries, at the big FINALS scheduled on 3rd November, 2018 at Kidexpo in Paris, France.
Contestants can register at the venue to participate in the National Championship.Registrations will be on first come first serve basis.
