Lucknow, October 13, 2018: In a glittering ceremony, Indian Motorcycle®, America’s First Motorcycle Company today held the Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) ride under the ‘Wheels of Change’ initiative focused on the Girl Child Education in Lucknow. Sharing the mutual belief and dedication in giving back to the community, proud owners of Indian Motorcycle® are riding across 15 cities in the country and visiting several schools to provide educational kits and to raise funds for the ‘Girl Child Education’. The GQ ride was flagged off from Indian Motorcycle® Delhi on 26th September and will conclude at the National Capital on October 14th. Indian Motorcycle® distributed bicycles to underprivileged girls at Prerna School of Girls who travel a long distance to get to school.
Commenting on the empowering initiative, Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Country Head and Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. The GQ ride is aimed to get a group of likeminded riders together and create awareness about the girl child education in India. The K2K ride organized last year was a huge success and we were able to make contributions to various schools in India. Through the GQ ride, we aim to cover 15 cities, identify, honor and contribute to institutions and people who are committed to ensure primary and high school education for underprivileged girls.”
