Lucknow, 26th October 2018: New Way Senior Secondary School, Aliganj, Lucknow held it’s, 44th Meritorious Students and teachers Award Ceremony on 26th October 2018 at Atal Bihar Bajpayee Scientific Convention Centre, Lucknow. Honourable Shree Rajnath Singh, Home Minister, Government of India was the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour was Honourable Smt. Sanyukta Bhatia, The Mayor of Lucknow.
The Principal of the School welcomed Shree Rajnath Singh and Smt. Sanyukta Bhatia to the program, after the lamp was lit by them.
The students sought divine blessings according to different faiths of India. The first item was a Unique Qawwali through which a message for youth was sent to choose politics as a career because good people need to be in politics.
Other programs were based on current issues such as women empowerment, save environment which is of Global significance.
Different dance performances, like Folk Dances, Fusion Dance, Contemporary dances were also performed.
The Meritorious students were awarded trophies by Shree Rajnath Singh and teachers were also awarded for efficient performances by gifts and cash awards. Besides, School toppers subject wise toppers were also recognized.
Shree Rajnath Singh spoke words of appreciation to students and staff and showered them with his blessings. He praised the school for making a positive impact in society.
