New Delhi, 15th Dec 2018: Shri Amulya Patnaik Commissioner of Police, Delhi today inaugurated Ambedkar Nagar police station in South district as the 21st YUVA centre. Primero Skills will conduct skill training under YUVA for emergency medical technician job roles under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana from this YUVA centre in South district.

Delhi Police have been providing skill training under YUVA to economically distressed youth across 21 police stations now all over Delhi. After the first phase where 2000 youth under YUVA were trained, presently in second phase  5000 youth are being targetted to be given job enabled training from such police station centres.

New Delhi based Primero Skills which is already operating four YUVA centres across four districts will be operating its fifth police station centre from Ambedkar Nagar police station. This is the second YUVA training centre in South district of YUVA police after CR Park police station where training in hospitality and retail is being provided. The job role has been selected keeping in mind the huge requirement of trained and skilled manpower in healthcare sector. Under this job role the local youth would benefit from NSDC supported free training under Skill India programme and further would be assisted with placement.
